Board Member at Large

Taylor Frankel

Taylor was one of the first women to help turn GRGA turn into something more than just a meet and greet. At our first impromptu get together, Taylor invited the group to her upcoming hut trip at Polar Star hut. Our connections grew from there and Taylor has been bringing her passion for the outdoors and elevating women to the organization ever since!

Taylor is from Longmont, Colorado. She went to University of Boulder and studied Integrative Physiology where she played club soccer at college. She cooked in college and fell even more in love with cooking when she decided it was the career path she would take after graduating. She was the youngest and first female chef at Sweet Basil. She’s cooked in three Michelin star restaurants in CA and now owns her own private chef business. Every year she finds lots of joy in most snow sports, and also loves mountain biking and trail running. She’s done a bit of bike packing including sections of the Colorado trail and has competed in Xterra Triathlons, a 70.3 Ironman and lots of mountain bike races!
