Founder
Amanda Marchiani
The day after graduating high school she began raft guide training on the lower Arkansas River. A “just one summer” decision that changed her life with an 8 year “career” in white water recreation. Even as a retired raft guide, she always finds a home in the river community. During her studies at CSU in mechanical engineering, her passion for the outdoors and bringing people together took over when she became an officer and eventually the president of the CSU Snowriders. She went from doing movie premiers at local breweries, putting on rail jams, and organizing college ski trips to operations management for events such as the NFL Draft, X Games, Dew Tour, Red Bull Rampage, Burton US Open, GoPro Mountain Games, and music festivals across the country. Amanda balances her time between traveling for event work, running her side-hustles, and playing outside. If you can catch her while she’s in town, she’s likely with her pup Sauer somewhere on her snowboard, mountain bike, or in a raft.
One of Amanda’s most recent nicknames is ‘MVP of Stoke’ given by her guide at Silverton Mountain. If you’re out with her on a pow day you’re bound to hear her hollering and whooping most of the way down.
Through her experience in the event world, her creativity, and stubborn determination, Amanda can help bring together our community of rad outdoorswomen.
